Why Logan?
Two Growth Areas and a Bigger Hospital
Logan added 11,949 residents in the year to June 2025. Much of its future growth is planned in two State Government priority development areas: Yarrabilba, planned for up to 20,000 homes and 50,000 people, and Greater Flagstone, planned for about 51,500 homes and up to 138,000 people over 30 to 40 years.
Services are catching up. The Logan Hospital expansion is a more than $1 billion investment: stage one added 206 beds and treatment spaces, and stage two adds 112 more beds and new theatres by late 2027.

Where we look
Logan Has Many Markets
Logan covers 70 suburbs, from established areas near Logan Central to new estates on the city’s southern edge. New estates bring modern homes and strong owner-occupier demand, but also large volumes of competing supply. We look closely at the estate, the builder, the lot and the rental evidence before recommending anything.
New builds in Logan
Why We Favour New Over Established
Anyone can buy a property. We help identify property worthy of your investment dollars. For most investors, that means a new build:
- Stronger cash flow and higher depreciation
- Lower maintenance and a builder’s warranty
- Rent that reflects a modern, energy-efficient home
- The ten-year rule: a new home stays ten years younger than the house next door, including when you sell
